Dave is truly our coach – whether it’s advising clients on the best ways to retool their marketing or drilling our staff to think big. Then he goes home and does it all over again with his three girls and their basketball and volleyball teams.

Dave co-founded DHX in 1998 to counsel clients on marketing strategy and best practices. He has experience managing large-scale creative and media buys, lead-gen and loyalty programs and brand positioning efforts.

An MBA graduate of Willamette University, Dave spends each day channeling the big picture to find new approaches for marketing problems.

Like her speedy legs at a lunch-time spin class, Danyel keeps an energetic pace for DHX clients by managing strategy, planning, client expectations, budgets, project execution, day-to-day deliverables and so much more.

A journalism graduate from the University of Oregon, Danyel has been managing projects and strategic vision for regional, national and international brands for almost 20 years.

She has established strong client relationships and created successful, integrated campaigns for brands including BridgePort Brewing, Franz Bakery, Tillamook, Nike, REHAU, Collins, Rainbow Light, SAIF Corporation, Tonkin Family of Dealerships and Beats by Dre.

Brandon is a compulsive creative with extensive expertise in branding, identity, print, broadcast, digital and environmental design. Idea-driven, he’s a cheerful perfectionist who develops each concept through iteration until he gets it just right. Then he spends all night making it perfect.

Born and raised in Chicago, Brandon honed his skills at the Art Institute of Chicago and the Art Institute of Portland. When not working, you can find Brandon hanging with his daughter Jordyn and taking in all the art galleries, loud music, and delicious beer Portland has to offer.

Wil discovered his passion for design in high school when his graphics teacher introduced him to a little computer called the Apple Macintosh.

After traveling the world and discovering the meaning of life, Wil moved to Los Angeles, graduated from UCLA and dived headfirst into the world of design. Over the years, Wil has honed his craft with clients including Disney, Warner Bros, Lionsgate Films, AMEX, GE, IBM and Kroger/Fred Meyer.

Outside of the office, Wil spends his time with his wife and children, encouraging their passions for soccer, basketball, gymnastics and dance–and loving every minute of it.

A graphic designer for more than 30 years, his experience has spanned most aspects of advertising media, with a particular passion for entertainment packaging. Illustration skills include Photoshop re-touch, technical drawing and high-detail realistic and fantasy art.

Off-hours, he’s an author and script-writer who has co-created several alternate dimensions, among them the award-winning radio shows, Dry Smoke & Whispers Holodio Theatre and Anomaly Calling. He and his wife, Autumn, love to explore Portland’s great restaurant scene, support local theatre and share their home with their feline dramatic mammals, Eartha, Monique and Maurice.

Described as an old soul since birth, Mackenzie’s love of music, poetry, and travel sparked a love for writing. After traveling through Europe last summer and graduating from the University of Oregon, she moved home to Portland to begin her career in as a junior copywriter at DHX.

During her time at DHX she has already produced work for clients such as Rehau, USASF, SAIF Corporation, New System Laundry and more. You can usually find her near an open window working on her third cup of coffee, or finishing a book she forgot was under her bed.

Sotiri’s background is as diverse as it is interesting. He has over 25 years of experience in photography, videography, web development, motion graphics and video editing for clients such as Collins, Nike and Xerox.

When he’s not wearing one of his many hats for us, you’ll most likely find him hanging out with his family, volunteering, camping, or home roasting a specialty blend of DHX coffee beans.
