Teledyne FLIR is a world-leading developer and manufacturer of thermal technology. FLIR’s thermal technology helps to save lives, improve productivity, and protect property. DHX was awarded the OEM business, which includes thermal cameras, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), Automotive and industrial applications.
DHX was asked to launch a new Industrial UAV developed for First Responders. The cost-effective, dual payload SIRAS UAV is equipped with both a thermal camera and a visible camera and would be primarily used for search and rescue, firefighting support, and inspections. Our strategy was to focus efforts on the first responder market, putting the SIRAS in front of budget-strapped fire and police departments.
